Accounting Assistant | Goleta, CA

Established locally owned and operated construction company is recruiting for a full-time position immediately available within the Finance Department.

Primary focus will be on all tasks related to the Accounts Payable process.

Essential Duties

  • Posts vendor invoices into QuickBooks

  • Reconciles vendor account monthly statements

  • Maintains vendor information up to date

  • Collections and Account Receivables

  • Provides general support to clients

  • Special projects as requested

Education and Experience

  1.  AA Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting / Business Administration or related field

  2. Experience working in the construction industry is highly desirable

  3. Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers, clients, and vendors.

  4. Customer service-oriented.

  5. Experience in Job Costing is a plus

Position is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
